Running, rambling, and randomness
Donald 1/2 Marathon Training officially starts today! I’m going to be using the 16 week half marathon training program from Running in the Family. Three days of running seems to be about what my body can handle. I’ll also be doing yoga (1-2 times/week) and strength training (1-2 times/week) in an effort to keep my IT band happy.
And you gotta have a goal, right? I’ll admit, I’m a slower runner (no shame here!) My best half time is 2:36. My goal for the Donald is sub-2:30, which I know is totally attainable with training. My reach goal?Let’s say sub-2:15.
Let’s do this thing!
